He designed many automotive designs in collaboration with JL Full Throttle, such as ‘Grand Master’ and ‘Impression’. The first Foose Coupe was auctioned for $340,000. Later, a Foose Coupe was sold at the Barrett-Jackson car auction. Hemisfear, which is also known as ‘Foose Coupe’ was displayed publicly at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) trade show. He also served as the owner of the famous Hot Rod shop by Boyd Coddington Chip Foose Car Drawingsįoose drew the designs for Hemisfear, and in 2007, began a limited production of 50 vehicles. In 2004, he became the regular star cast on a reality series on TLC, called ‘Overhaulin’. He modified and designed a new version of 2002 Ford Thunderbird, called “Speedbird”, and gained popularity for his work in a documentary, broadcasted on TLC. In 1998, Foose formed his own automobile and product design company, named as ‘Foose Design’ in Huntington Beach, California. Soon after completing the graduation, Chip began to work part-time for Boyd Coddington and full-time for Sterenberger Design.
